Love Won Out Conference Saturday

Regular Rex readers know the Indiana Family Institute is a co-sponsor of the Focus on the Family conference known as Love Won Out to Indianapolis this coming Saturday.  We begin at 8 a.m. and the location is Traders Point Christian Church (a new site at exit 131 on I-65 -- the Zionsville exit -- just off the exit in the southwest quadrant of the interchange). You can get better directions at www.tpcc.org.

These conferences have been well received by individuals and families interested in a better understanding of the Bible's teaching on sex, what the latest science and research reveal about homosexuality nand same-sex attraction, and what churches and people of faith are doing to more effectively minister to those touched by this issue.

All are welcome.  Open hearts and open minds are encouraged, but all are welcome.

As the Bible says of everyone (not just those involved in sexual misconduct):

If we claim to be without sin, we deceive ourselves and the truth is not in us. If we confess our sins, He is faithful and just and will forgive us our sins and purify us from all  unrighteousness. If we claim we have not sinned, we make Him out to be a liar and His word has no place in our lives.    1 John 1:8-10     New International Version

Conference is fantastic. Perhaps 800 attending. Much healing and help as well as information and insight. Joe Dallas, Mike Haley and Melissa Fryrear are especially effective presenters.

Apparently the Love Won Out conference was a success!

A women who had lived a homosexual lifestyle for about ten years attended the conference. She has not been practicing for the past five years, as she cannot rationalize her previous behavior with her Christian faith.

After the Love Won Out conference, she realized that she is not alone in her struggle and is desperately seeking the Lord's help to change her heart and mind. She said that Melissa Fryrear’s story so closely tracked her own that she was surprised to say the least! She now has hope that she can be changed instead of just abstaining! Even after making the decision on last Saturday to become a new woman, many of the walls she has built up in her heart have already begun to fall!

Just because this woman made a decision on Saturday does not mean she is done! Please lift her up in your prayers!
