It's old news now that Tarik Glenn is retiring.  I was, however, not aware of the deeper story here until Tarik's speech announcing his retirement was sent to me. I attended the property tax hearing on Monday morning, put together by The Commission on State Tax and Financing Policy.  The Property Tax Revolution has not died down.  Despite the fact that the hearing was held during a time when most taxpayers were at work (someone actually has to work to pay for government) the room was packed.  Once again the Indianapolis Star gets it wrong when they downplay the powerful sentiment in the room for abolishing the property tax.  Though citizens did want immediate relief from their unjust...

The American Conservative Union presents an article on environmentalism that reflects the current thoughts of many Conservatives on the issue.
