What’s Possible for the Pro-Life Movement in Indiana

Indiana is considered by most to be a conservative, pro-life state, but as we near the end of this year’s legislative session, some Hoosiers are thinking ahead towards what may be possible when it comes to protecting innocent life in the legislature next year.

Pro-life allies in Iowa have just pushed through a bill that would effectively ban all abortions after 20 weeks, as well as institute a 72-hour waiting period. Now, the only obstacle that remains is Republican Governor Terry Branstad’s signature.

Indiana already has similar legislation in place already, but we cannot take our foot off the gas.  Together, our efforts on behalf of the pro-life movement must continue to expand so that:

Community health centers are properly funded, giving women adequate healthcare options -- outside of Planned Parenthood;

Taxpayer funds are never used to pay for abortions inside or outside Indiana;

Doctors and nurses always have the right not to participate in an abortion procedure, and much, much more.

Given the recent change in national leadership, pro-life leaders and legislators are gaining the confidence needed to introduce even stronger pro-life legislation at the state level, but we need your help to make that happen.

While this year’s legislative session is drawing to a close, we need your help to start planning for next year’s victories here in Indiana. Would you consider making a tax-deductible gift of $20, $40, $100, or more today, so that we can gear up for the next legislative session?

Together, we’re confident that we’ll make even more progress to protect innocent life in every corner of our state.

Thank you for your trust and support!
