Colts Coach Tony Dungy Rightly Honored

We were pleased to learn that Indiana Wesleyan University will honor Indianpolis Colts Coach Tony Dungy with its “Changemaker" award this fall.  It remains to be seen if America’s homosexual activists attack the University as they did the Indiana Family Institute when we honored Coach Dungy and his wife, Lauren, with our “Friend of the Family" award.  But more likely the groups and their blogs will back off, knowing that that approach blew up in their face with IFI.

We also salute Indiana Wesleyan University, a growing, vibrant, Christ-centered insitution in Marion, Indiana, for honoring Coach Dungy and fulfilling the Biblical charge to give honor to whom honor is due.  Coach Dungy's character and selfless service merit our highest praise.

Coach is a great leader....his words AND his actions speak loudly.

I wish I had a dollar for everyday I'm proud to be an IWU alumni.

The Dungy Book, Quiet Strength, goes on sale tomorrow! Bob Kravitz, IndyStar.com, in a review of the book, mentioned the IFI award and Dungy's stance on the marriage ammendment.

Yes, and CircleCityPundit tells everyone how to get an autographed copy here: http://circlecitypundit.blogspot.com/2007/06/quiet-strength.html

Dungy deserves all the praise we have to offer.
